This is a picture of how I would like our bedroom to look. When I mentioned putting pictures and books above our bed our California raised neighbor immediately warned us against it because of earthquakes. Well... I've been thinking about posting this for a while but I knew I had to after experiencing our first earthquake today. My hands are still shaking from it and it wasn't even that bad. Fortunately there was no serious damage in our area.
