I've become fascinated with the idea of making my own clothes. I would love to use only second hand fabrics and notions (from thrift stores, estate sales, etc). I made this skirt out of this green fabric that I have had for years and seams to be endless. It is a basic pencil skirt that I plan to use as a jumping point for creating my own variations. Next up is a basic blouse out of muslin.

My friend just had a baby girl so I think I am going to tune up my rusty sewing skills making cute baby dresses.
