I decided that we needed a little color in our garden so I added these sweet little flowers. I bought them on a whim but apparently our climate is perfect for them and they will come back every year. All of the herbs are growing rapidly but the peppermint plant is winning by far. That is the tall one in the hanging basket. Our bean plant is also doing well so I think that we will purchase more of those and replace the lettuce that has all wilted :( Mark has also begun experimenting with germinating plants from our groceries. Those little sprouts are red bell peppers. I am going to try to germinate strawberries but I've heard that it is very difficult so not promises.
